Description: This dataset includes the City of Boston Planning Department Research Division's population estimates for Boston's population at the 2020 Census Tract level on January 1st, 2025. The Research Division created age-specific population estimates for Boston, its neighborhoods and census tracts. 2019-2023 American Community Survey (ACS) data were used to analyze the Research Division population estimates by demographic characteristics.The Research Division developed these estimates in light of the 2020 Decennial Census and subsequent American Community Surveys undercounts of Boston's population.
